Chick-Fil-A Seminar
Orlando, FL

CFA is an amazing organization!  We are so blessed to be a part of this family!
These are a few of the highlights from our seminar this year.

Opening worship service with North Point Community Church worship team.

Love this presentation of the gospel

Poolside Dinner ~ a remarkable experience!

Really neat story about a CFA Operator who served in the military
and saved this man's life. His plane was shot down, he ejected and landed in enemy territory
in Afghanistan.  They met for the first time at seminar....years after the rescue!
Very moving story...one of many featured about the great operators within the organization.

Celebration with our founder Truett Cathy...
$4 billion...debt free company!
His words of encouragement to the operators...
always tithe...God takes care of those who put Him first.

Disney
While in Orlando we couldn't pass up the great
Military Salute offer from Disney.

Memories to last a lifetime with papa and nana.

Meeting the characters.

I am praising the Lord this morning that I am back in the land of the living! I have never been so sick in my entire life. It actually began Saturday evening with Mark. That night around 11:00 p.m. he began violently throwing up, having stomach cramps, spiked a high fever and eventually passed out two times. It was a very scary night. We thought he had food poisoning from something he had eaten at a restaurant that day, but it wasn’t, it was a nasty virus and on Monday night around 11:00 p.m. it hit me. I begged God to deliver me…I had so much to do...tutor CC the next day, take care of the girls, visit my grandmother for her 95th birthday and the list goes on. Yet I resolved that if I must go through it I desperately needed the Lord to help me. The Lord did help me and demonstrated His love through the tender and loving hands of my husband. He held me through each gut wrenching episode of vomiting, caught me when I passed out and placed cold rags on my head, forced me to drink 7UP so I wouldn’t get dehydrated, called his mom to come get the girls and cancelled work and meeting plans to stay home and take care of me. I never want to go through this again but I’m thankful for the blessing of a husband committed to me “in sickness and in health.” This March we will celebrate 13 years of marriage. Is our marriage perfect...NO...but I love him more today than I did yesterday...more than I ever imagined 13 years ago.
