The Simple Things...

When Lydia came home from China she would not go near the swing.  I cannot tell you what joy it brought to our hearts to see her giggle in the swing for the first time!

Both my girls barely fit inside one buggy but it's fun trying! You know when you take your children shopping with you it always takes so much longer but it can be fun and there are so many teaching moments...

Catawba Science Center

It's hot outside...a perfect day to head to Hickory and visit the Catawba Science Center...it's free on Friday!  It was great to go with our dear friends Tori and Angela.  Angela majored in Biology and always has lots of great information to share with the girls.

She enjoys her lesson each week with Mr. Larry.

I Love Summer!

We have several blue heron nests around the lake.  If you look

at the middle tree you can see a blue heron and the nest.
