School

School is off to a good start. My goal for each day is to love my girls and
teach them to love each other and the Lord.  Of course they get the
reading, writing and arithmetic but at the end of the day if we have shown love, kindness
and put forth our best effort in ALL we did...it is a successful day!

This is Olivia's 4th year in Classical Conversations and Lydia's first. This year we are
studying American History. We are having so much fun with our book club. The girls
are reading the American Girl Series "Felicity" and enjoying learning about that time period.

Lydia's new favorite book "Miss Tizzy"!

Olivia's favorite subject...Science!

China Reunion 2011

It was another great China sisters reunion!
This was our 6th reunion and this year we met
at Isle of Palms, SC.  The Charleston Post and Courier
did a great feature story.  You can see it here.

An invisible red thread connects those destined to meet,
regardless of time, place, or circumstances.
The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break.

We were so blessed to have papa and nana join us this year.
